Regency mahogany longcase clock. The round convex dial signed Dwerrihouse & Carter Berkley Square with Roman hour numerals. Blued steel spade hands. The high quality eight day five pillar movement with substantial shouldered plates, anchor escapement and striking the hours on a bell. The wood rod pendulum has a heavy brass lenticular bob and silvered calibrated rating nut, brass cased weights.
The flame figured mahogany case with break arch top and a single pedestal with brass ball finial, canted stop fluted corners with brass side frets and a turned brass bezel to the full opening door with strike/silent facility behind. The highly figured arched trunk door, flanked by stop fluted canted sides, the panelled base has a double plinth.
