English Regency ebonised bracket clock with triple pad top. The elegant break arch painted dial signed James McCabe London with Roman numerals and strike/silent dial in the arch. Original gilt brass hands.
High quality, eight day double fusee movement with an anchor escapement and striking the hours on a bell. Finely engraved border to the backplate signed James McCabe London. Stirrup type regulation to the pendulum with engraved bob. The case with the original ebonised finish of lovely colour and patina has a triple brass bound pad top with brass carrying handle. Brass lined front door and brass corners, fish scale brass frets to the sides and brass ogee bracket feet.
