English George III ebonised bracket clock. The elegant break arch brass dial with calendar aperture to the matted centre and an inset silvered cartouche signed Morris Tobias London. Silvered chapter ring with Roman hour numerals and a rise/fall regulation dial in the arch. Blued steel hands.
High quality, eight day double fusee movement now with an anchor escapement and striking the hours on a bell. Finely engraved backplate. The case with the original ebonised finish of lovely colour and patina with brass carrying handle. Brass lined front door, fish scale brass frets to the sides and brass ogee bracket feet.
