A fine Queen Anne ebonised table clock with pull quarter repeat on four bells.

The 7" x 8" gilt brass dial signed Geo Francis London either side of a wheatear engraved calendar aperture, above this is a strike/silent function lever. Silvered chapter ring with lozenge half hour markers, blued steel hands, the centre of the dial is finely matted and has a chamfered false pendulum aperture with engraved background, crossed mitre and coronet spandrels. The substantial five pillar movement has its original verge escapement and is pull quarter repeating on four bells, it strikes the hours on a separate bell. The backplate is signed Geo Francis London within a foliate cartouche amongst finely engraved foliage.

The ebonised case has an inverted bell top and brass carrying handle, finely pierced ebony sound fret to the front door with foliate cast brass escutcheons.
