Mahogany and brass inlaid break arch top bracket clock. The round convex painted dial is signed Simmons Finsbury London with Roman hour numerals. Blued steel hands.

The eight day, double fusee movement has an anchor escapement and strikes the hours on a bell. The backplate has an engraved border .

The figured mahogany case has a break arch top and canted sides inset with brass stringing. Cast brass bezel with convex glass and brass inlay to the front with rosettes above an ebonised ripple moulding. Brass fish scale frets to the sides below brass ring handles. Cast brass ball feet.
